It is time to upgrade that old desktop computer for a new one, but you’ve come to the conclusion that you’re going to go with a notebook computer this time around. If you’re thinking like any sane person that’s about to drop a nice sum of money on a computer, you’re probably asking yourself, how can I buy the best notebook computer for my money? You’re also in the position where you do not have a big budget, so you want to get the best deal possible. Here is my three step process that my family, friends, and I use to find the best notebook CPU.
Number 1 – I always start out with a list of things that I would like my new computer to have. I usually write unabated until I have at least twenty-five items on my list. Once I’m done with my list. I go into what I call “reality mode”, this is where I start deleting things that I can live without. Usually, after I’m finished deleting items, I’m left with ten to twelve items on the list.
Number 2 – Next I dust off the old computer and I perform a search on the Google search engine. The first place I go is usually Best Buy, but of late I’ve been doing a lot of my online shopping on Amazon, because their prices are so much better and you also have the option to purchase the item used at a pretty nice discount. Once on these sites, you want to look for the best notebook computer that’s within your budget. For me, that price range is under a thousand dollars. Don’t worry, you can get a pretty nice computer for under a thousand dollars, trust me, I have one.
Number 3 – Last but definitely not least, you’re going to want to read everything about that laptop computer. Do not overlook the reviews on the company’s website. Amazon does a good job of listing customer reviews. I do not hesitate to take the advice of people that purchased the computer I’m currently looking at. However, don’t just concentrate on the good comments; you’re also going to want to take note of some of the bad ones, doing that will make you an informed buyer. Compare the items on your list with the laptop computer you’re currently looking into purchasing. Once you’re finished with this process, you’re probably going to have about three to five computers that you’re going to want to choose from. All you have to do now is get the machine that come as close as possible to your list. It is very rear to find everything on that list, but you will get pretty close. The only way to get everything on that list is to get a customized notebook computer, but that can get pretty pricey.
